IMPORTANT NOTICE – SIP TRUNKING & CALL LIMITS

Signalmash Users,

The team at Signalmash takes our responsibilities as a regulated telecommunications provider very seriously. One of our primary responsibilities is to make every reasonable effort to ensure our network is not utilized to conduct potentially unlawful calling activities. These activities are often harmful to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable members of society and are typically conducted by the worst of societies’ members.

Like many things in life, the actions of a small number of bad actors have an unwanted effect on everyone and frequently create added burden for those of us simply looking to move through our day-to-day activities.

As a result of the actions of a small number of bad actors in the Signalmash community, we find it necessary to make some changes to how your Signalmash SIP Trunking services will be managed.

Effective May 12, 2023, Signalmash is introducing a secondary account vetting process for customers that would like to fully utilize our SIP Trunking services. In order to gain full access to our SIP Trunking services, you will need to contact us via email at help@signalmash.com. When you contact us, our customer success team will send you an electronic copy our additional Know Your Customer document for you to complete and electronically sign. Don’t worry, the document should only take you a few minutes to complete and our team will work to review responses and verify your account as quickly as possible.

Beginning May 12, 2023, all “unverified” accounts on the Signalmash platform will have the following calling limits imposed:

  1. 1. Unverified accounts will only be able to place a maximum of 6 outbound calls per minute.
  2. 2. Unverified accounts will not be able to place outbound calls to telephone numbers listed on the Federal Do Not Call Registry.
  3. 3. Beginning the week of May 15 – May 21, unverified accounts will not be able call telephone numbers belonging to wireless users.

We apologize that the actions of a small number of bad actors have resulted in these extra efforts for all the responsible users in our Signalmash community. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in helping us to protect the most vulnerable members of society from the predatory actions of societies’ worst members.

Sincerely,

Team Signalmash
